The X-VEG 200 from F.O.G, Future of Grow, is the first universal LED grow light in our range.

Developed to meet the demands of professionals, it combines power, modularity, robustness and versatility in a compact 200 W light.

Its design allows it to adapt to many environments: indoor growing, greenhouses, nurseries and production areas, but also industrial facilities, warehouses, storage halls, shops and exhibition spaces.

With its 3 selectable spectra, various mounting options and multiple dimming solutions, the X-VEG 200 adapts to any type of project.

3 SELECTABLE SPECTRA

A selector built directly into the light lets you switch instantly between three colour temperatures: 6,500 K, 4,000 K and 2,200 K.

This feature allows the light to be matched to the plant’s stage of development, the desired plant habit or industrial use.

6,500 K: compact growth

A cool white light particularly suited to the vegetative stage. It promotes compact growth and helps limit stretch in plants and internodes.

Recommended applications: vegetative growth, young plants, mother plants and crops requiring compact growth.

4,000 K: balanced, versatile spectrum

A natural, even and perfectly balanced white light, designed to support plant development from vegetative growth to flowering while meeting the requirements of professional lighting.

Recommended applications: horticultural growing in the vegetative and flowering stages, greenhouses, commercial spaces, shops, warehouses, storage halls, production areas and exhibition spaces.

2,200 K: flowering and elongation 

A warm light enriched in red wavelengths for flowering, which also helps steer plant habit towards greater elongation in mother plants.

Recommended applications: flowering (flowers, fruit), growing mother plants when more elongation is desired.

3 SELECTABLE POWER LEVELS

A selector built directly into the light lets you switch instantly between three power levels: 200 W, 160 W and 120 W.

This feature allows the light intensity to be precisely matched to the plant’s stage of development, the desired plant habit or the specific needs of industrial use.

The X-VEG 200 adapts easily to different installation configurations.

INTERCHANGEABLE REFLECTORS AND DIFFUSERS

Depending on the application and the desired light distribution, the X-VEG 200 can be fitted with different optical solutions:

• Metal reflector

This modularity allows light diffusion to be adapted to the mounting height and the operating environment.

SEVERAL DIMMING SOLUTIONS

The X-VEG 200 is 0–10 V dimmable and comes with a 10 cm connection cable with an LLTM16 connector, allowing various 0–10 V control solutions to be connected.

Solutions available as options:

• Manual dimmer 25%-50%-75%-100%
• 0–10 V controller
• Custom manufacturing with DALI dimming
• DALI to 0–10 V decoder

For an in-line installation run by a controller, each light must be fitted with the M16 CONNECTOR cable, available as an option.

Power dimming allows the light intensity to be precisely matched to the plants’ needs while optimising energy consumption.

EXCEPTIONAL VERSATILITY IN USE

Indoor growing

The X-VEG 200 can cover an area of up to 1.2 × 1.2 m, depending on the mounting height and the desired light level.

Typically installed 80 to 150 cm above the plants, it is a particularly suitable solution for:

• mother plants
• plants in vegetative growth
• culinary herbs
• ornamental plants
• flowers
• young plants

Greenhouses

In a greenhouse, the X-VEG 200 can be used to cover an area of approximately 1.2 × 1.2 m, depending on the light requirements of the crop.

It can also be installed in rows, for example with one light every 3 metres, to provide supplemental lighting for maintaining plants or supporting their vegetative development.

Final sizing naturally depends on the crop, the available natural light and the target PPFD/DLI.

Industrial lighting

Thanks to its power, efficiency and robust design, the X-VEG 200 can also be used as a professional floodlight in:

• industrial halls
• warehouses
• storage areas
• workshops
• shops
• exhibition spaces

It can be installed at heights of 3 or 6 metres, for example, depending on the building layout and the desired light level.

PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY

The X-VEG 200 uses high-performance LED chips selected to deliver excellent light output while limiting power consumption.

Compared with traditional HPS and MH technologies, it can achieve up to 50% energy savings, depending on the installation replaced.

Its design also aims to limit light output depreciation over time in order to maintain high performance in the long term.

ROBUSTNESS AND CONTROL

IP65 protection

Its robust housing and sealed connectors provide IP65 protection, particularly suited to horticultural, humid, industrial or dusty environments.

However, the X-VEG 200 is not designed for permanent direct outdoor exposure.

Optimised thermal management

The integrated heat sink efficiently dissipates the heat generated by the LEDs.

Heat is therefore better controlled than with traditional lighting technologies, reducing the thermal load transmitted directly to the plants and allowing the light to be used at distances suited to the light requirements of the crop.

0–10 V control

0–10 V dimming allows the light output to be precisely adjusted to match the lighting to the growth stage, the distance to the plants and production targets.

PERFORMANCE OBSERVED BY OUR CUSTOMERS

Customers using the X-VEG 200 for their mother plants, combined with our X-CLONE PRO 10 and X-CLONE PRO 30 solutions for cuttings, have observed:

• faster rooting
• better root development
• more vigorous cuttings
• a 10 to 15% improvement in final yield under their production conditions

These results were observed in comparison with their previous propagation methods using traditional fluorescent tubes.
