Product description

The TrolMaster DSD-2 Dry-Contact module offers a simple, flexible solution for connecting and controlling devices via the Hydro-X system using a ‘dry contact’ or an activation relay. Some equipment needs a normally open or normally closed contact to operate, and the DSD-2 meets exactly this need. Plugged into a standard NEMA 120 V 15/20 A socket, it powers its own internal circuit. The user can then connect any control voltage (up to 240 V @ 10 A) to the module’s common, normally open and/or normally closed terminals. Virtually any device that needs a dry contact or a relay to be activated can be controlled by the DSD-2. Like other TrolMaster power modules, it connects to the Hydro-X ‘devices’ line and can manage a wide range of equipment, such as lighting contactors, blackout curtains, pumps, and temperature, humidity or CO2 devices.
