Observations based on 9 months of greenhouse cultivation with a photoperiod of 18 hours and supplemental lighting (LED/HPS) varying between 3h - 8h depending on the season.

Results are valid as a reference in cases of hybrid cultivation in greenhouses (glass or polycarbonate).

Plants with LED lighting are in better general health.
With HPS lamps, a greater presence of mites and powdery mildew is particularly noticeable.
The vigor of the plants is equivalent in both greenhouses.

The growth rate is faster under the LED X-VEG 200W luminaires.

The internodes are tighter with the LED X-VEG 200W luminaires.
‍
The climate is warmer and drier with the HPS Gavita 400W lamps.
