The TrolMaster Hydro-x system can control most supplemental lighting fixtures sold today. Most lighting manufacturers offer the ability to control their lighting systems using what is known as low-voltage control. This low-voltage control can take many forms and communication protocols. TrolMaster manufactures several types of lighting adapters (LMA units) that allow the Hydro-x to control the lights using their low-voltage control option.

The LMA-T works specifically with ThinkGrow LED systems to provide two-channel control, allowing separate control for the full spectrum and secondary red output levels on ThinkGrow LEDs.

The LMA-T simply connects to the Line 1 and Line 2 lighting control ports on the HCS-1. Once connected, the user can then set individual on and off times as well as dimming settings for the full-spectrum LEDs and also for the secondary red LEDs.

The LMA-T is then connected to the RJ-type lighting control cables where each of the LEDs is connected to the controller in a daisy-chain configuration using plug-and-play connections.

One adapter can manage up to 256 ThinkGrow LEDs.
