Product Description

The ARS-1 mini-split air conditioner controller is a unique product that solves the long-standing problem of having separate temperature settings for day and night on your mini-split air conditioners. The ARS-1 is a universal controller that works with most mini-split air conditioners (and some window-type air conditioners as well), as long as the unit comes with an IR / infrared remote control. We use the remote control supplied with the unit to "teach" these IR signals to the ARS-1 module. Once the ARS-1 has "learned" these remote control codes, it will send these same signals to the indoor unit of the mini-split, automatically changing the setpoint to the desired temperature for day or night depending on the status of the photoelectric sensor.
